Whatever the case, there is certainly something special about this early year in the Les Paul Model's history and Gibson Custom Shop created this '54 Reissue to perfectly recapture the look, feel, and tone of the originals."
Goldtop, VOS nitrocellulose lacquer finish, Two piece carved plain Maple top, One piece lightweight Mahogany body, Hide glue construction and long tenon neck joint, 50's rounded medium C shaped Mahogany neck, Bound 12” radius Indian Rosewood fingerboard with the cellulose nitrate trapezoid inlays and historic narrow tall frets, 24.75” scale length, 1.69" nut width, the neck measures .92" at the 1st and 1.02" at the 12th frets, Custom Soapbar P-90 bridge and neck pickups, 3-way toggle switching with the volume and tone controls for each pickup, Wraparound stop tailpiece, Kluson single line/single ring tuners, 8.9 pounds, With the Lifton hardshell case
